In-Cosmetics Global 2025, a three-day premier global event for the personal care and cosmetic ingredients industry, successfully concluded at the RAI International Convention Centre in Amsterdam, Netherlands, from April 8-10, 2025. Sino Lion’s team, along with our global distributors and clients, gathered to share and introduce cutting-edge sustainable new products and technologies, bringing innovative ideas and ensuring the event’s success.
As a socially responsible company, Sino Lion is committed not only to advancing technology and creating value for consumers worldwide but also to focusing on the environment for future generations. We are dedicated to reducing carbon footprints and contributing to sustainable development for the benefit of the next generation.
In pursuit of this mission, Sino Lion creatively integrates two major technology platforms—Green Chemistry and Advanced Biotechnology & Life Sciences—to enhance and optimize product development. Our goal is to create “greener and better” ingredients, aiming to reshape the competitive landscape of existing ingredient categories, including but not limited to natural surfactants (such as amino acid based surfactants and biosurfactants), natural preservatives and Boosters (such as amino acid-based preservatives, green glycols and naturally identical antimicrobial agents), amino acid chelating agents, amino acid-derived emollients and conditioning agents, and sustainable bioactive ingredients (including innovative fermentation products, glycosides, and functional vitamins).
Additionally, Sino Lion is devoted to producing natural, green, and sustainable ingredients at affordable prices, benefiting humanity and the environment. This commitment drew a steady stream of customers to our booth, eager for discussions and collaborations.
On the morning of April 9, Sino Lion’s President and Chief Scientific Officer (CSO), Dr. Evelyn Su, delivered a presentation titled “Sustainable Cleansing Technology with Amino Acid-Based Surfactants (Featuring Glutamates and Alaninates)” during a technical seminar. Using detailed data and rigorous logical analysis, the presentation delved into the life cycle analysis of amino acid surfactants, offering innovative ideas for the future development of personal and home cleaning products. The presentation was met with enthusiastic feedback, attracting not only customers but also peers from numerous multinational companies who came to learn. Embodying the spirit of openness, sharing, and mutual benefit.
Sino Lion provided comprehensive answers to the audience, garnering universal acclaim and praise. Following the presentation, attendees eagerly visited our booth for further in-depth discussions.
Dr. Su also referenced her team’s article in the journal "Cosmetics," titled “Beyond Sulfate-Free Personal Cleansing Technology” (Open Access, https://www.mdpi.com/2079-9284/12/1/14), which guides and assists brands in selecting suitable cleansing ingredients for the development of next-generation cleaning products.
Furthermore, this year Sino Lion conducted a comprehensive and in-depth assessment of the carbon footprint of our amino acid surfactants, specifically focusing on Glutamates and Alaninates, aligning with our group-wide sustainability strategy. We proudly passed the EcoVadis audit, steadily advancing the development and optimization of energy-saving, low-carbon, and environmentally friendly products.
Sino Lion is the first company to introduce functional Vitamin K2 to the cosmetics industry globally and to complete new ingredient filing in China. In the Innovation Zone (Box: 176), we continued showcasing our new product, BioEssence™ K2 MK-7, a bioengineered all-trans natural Vitamin K2, along with clinically proven effective facial and eye cream formulations containing 0.05% BioEssence™ K2 MK-7. The facial cream is designed to improve skin aging, while the eye cream effectively reduces dark circles. Attendees eagerly tried the samples and visited our booth for in-depth exchanges and discussions.
These memorable moments flew by, and Sino Lion looks forward to seeing you next year (2026) in Paris, France.
