According to the number of isoprene units in the side chain, vitamin K2 can be divided into 14 compounds, denoted as MK-n. Among them, Menaquinone-7 (MK-7) represents 7 isoprene units in the side chain, which is an important form of vitamin K2 and one of the indispensable vitamins in the human body.
